Excellent visible migration at Carr Vale this morning.
The first Wigeon of the autumn, the latest ever autumn arrival.
Quieter day on 16th - produced the first pink footed Geese of the autumn.
100 House Martins and a Yellow Wagtail.
Late news from August was that a Barn Owl was seen on 30th August.
On 31st no sign of the Spotted Redshank but it was back by late afternoon.
A very quiet morning.
More interesting records included 25 Red-legged Partridges.
The first Golden Plover of the autumn.
