The stakes couldn’t be higher. It’s no secret wildlife is disappearing at an alarming rate - some are calling it the next mass extinction - and the threat of climate catastrophe is a constant worry. We live in a time of emergency.
It’s going to take all of us to look around our community and see what we can change. There’s opportunities to rewild everywhere - from your back garden, to the verges on the side of the road, to the wasted space in our towns and cities and more. We have to make rewilding a priority for councils, planners and decision makers. They need to hear just how much rewilding matters to communities across Derbyshire. Â
