Carr Vale sightings by Mark Beevers

The 26th was another good day at CV with three skeins of Pink-footed Geese heading south-east (total 345), 28 Grey Lag Geese south (a high count for here), the first (two) Whooper Swans of the autumn south, two Barnacle x Canada Geese, 80 Gadwall, six Shoveler, three Water Rails heard, seven Golden Plover east, 965 Wood Pigeons south-west, very distant Little Owl, two Peregrines, 110 Redwings south-west, female Stonechat, singing Cettiā€™s Warbler, Chiffchaff, YELLOW-BROWED WARBLER, 22 Siskins and nine Redpoll south.
