
Wild Peak Round Weekend
About the event
Times: No set time to complete rounds (set days/times for the talks and guided walk listed below).
Who Can Participate: Anyone can come along and take part in any of the Wild Peak Round challenges at any time over the weekend and this does not require a booking.
There are three different rounds to challenge yourself with, you can walk or run these.
Mini Round – 15km
Half Round – 55km
Full Round – 120km
For each Round you will need to visit a specified number of named reserves that can be visited in any order or direction, travelling on foot only via public rights of way or open access land (no short cuts across private land!).
All start and finish at the Inov8 store in Bakewell, Peak District and each reserve has a single Wild Peak Rounds waymarker you must reach. For more information about the rounds visit: wild peak round | Derbyshire Wildlife Trust
*All round completers will receive a certificate, limited edition badge, Inov8 coaster, wildflower medal and prize draw entry.
Friday 18th July at 6pm - there will be two talks – one by Sam Willis about the Wild Peak Rounds and one by Chris Andrade (Inov8 Shop Manager) – about his experience, taking on the full 120km round. Please note that both the talks and the guided walk are free of charge but must be booked (as they both have limited capacity).
Sunday 20th July - there will be a prize draw to include anyone who has taken part in any of the rounds over the weekend, with a chance to win a pair of trainers and discount in the Inov8 store in Bakewell.
