About the event

Working with willow grown sustainably in the UK, learn to create your own hand-woven birdfeeder.

A great introduction to basketry techniques. Learn a variety of weaves including a 3-rod wale, pairing weave and a simple trac border and leave with your own hand-made willow birdfeeder complete with fat balls.

The event takes place in the beautifully restored, historic Aqueduct Cottage on the Cromford Canal.

Please note: There is no parking or toilets at the cottage. Parking and toilets are at High Peak Junction. The cottage is a 10 minute walk along the canal. There are stairs up to the workshop space.
