We are excited to announce the opening of our third shop!  This time, in the centre of Derby.

The shop will be based in Derby’s Cathedral Quarter, at 43 Sadler Gate, Derby, DE1 3NQ.  This gives us an exciting opportunity to support the Trust’s work across Derbyshire and help run our 47 reserves.

We couldn’t be happier to get such a prime location on the high street and we are looking forward to meeting everyone from Derby!  Ellen Fineran, Commercial Manager at Derbyshire Wildlife Trust said, ”We are excited to finally have a base here in Derby and South Derbyshire.  This is the first shop we are opening in an urban location and we hope that will come across in the way the shop is designed and some of the items we will be selling.  As a Trust we already run some amazing projects here so being able to connect with the area in new way is brilliant.”

The store will sell both new and pre-loved items with a vintage feel.  With the open date to be announced soon we are looking for donations of pre-loved clothing, homeware, books and DVDs. Anybody wishing to donate can do so by dropping off their items at our charity shops located in Belper and Bakewell, or, by dropping them at our head office in Middleton between 9-4pm Monday to Fridays.

Anyone interested in becoming a volunteer at the shop can find out more by calling the Trust on 01773 881188 or emailing enquiries@derbyshirewt.co.uk
