This is part of the wider consultation looking into the possibility of wild beaver reintroduction in the future

The Film:
Balancing the Scales is a powerful, visually stunning documentary. Through candid interviews with leading experts, this film unpacks the intricate relationship between beavers and migratory fish—revealing the opportunities beavers create and the unique challenges they introduce in our modern landscapes.
The screening will be followed by a talk and Q&A with a representative from the Beaver Trust who has specialist knowledge of beaver and fish interactions.
This will lead into an opportunity for discussion to consider what wild beaver reintroduction could mean for Derbyshire.
