Over the past month you've been sending us some amazing sightings from your gardens and local walks - we've listed some of the amazing species you've spotted across Derbyshire!

As we are all spending more time in our garden and our local areas, your contributions to our sightings database has been critical information to help us know what wildlife we have around Derbyshire, some of the spotted species are listed below - thank you!

Hedgehogs in Castleton, Matlock, Aston on Trent, Wilmorton and Ashover.

Dormice in Duffield.

Syklarks, canada geese, lapwings and moorhens, ringed plovers, snipe, reed bunting, reed warblers, 
linnets, goldfinches and yellowhammers  at The Avenue Country Park.

An osprey flying over Belper Mill (!!).

Red-tailed bumblebees, small tortoiseshell, brimstones and peacock butterflies in Belper. 

A badger in Chesterfield!

Nesting swans at Carr Vale.

House sparrows in a garden in Spondon.

Bluetits in Belper - who are hopefully nesting there like they did last year! Along with frogs and peacock butterflies.

Red crested pochards at Melbourne.

A water vole swimming, orange tip butterfly, peacock butterfly, kestrel, willow warbler ,chiffchaff, grey wagtail, mallard, bullfinch, wren along the Hilcote and Blackwell trail.
