About the event

This February half term, it’s National Nest Box Week! Join the Wilder Chesterfield project team and Chesterfield Borough Council at Poolsbrook Club to build your own swift box and learn how to welcome wildlife to your garden. Swifts usually nest in holes in old buildings, but modern building techniques mean many of their favourite sites are disappearing. Your swift box can give these amazing birds a safe place to nest when they’re breeding.

Enjoy a range of wilder activities and give nature a helping hand in your community!

Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
