Early morning visit; on the Sidings - lots of birds in song; sedge, reed and willow warblers, white throat, blackcap, wren, blue, great and long tailed tits, goldfinch, bullfinch, blackbird, starling, house sparrow. 1 grass snake near the pond dipping pond. On the reedbed pond - 2 little ringed plovers, black headed gulls, 4 gadwell, 25 Canada geese, reed bunting, reed warbler. Also skylarks and yellowhammers.
