Junior Rangers

Become a Junior Ranger

Are you interested in becoming a Junior Ranger?  We'd love to have you on board.

If you are aged between 11-18 and want to get hands on experience at Carsington Water, get in touch!  If you are looking to work in conservation in the future or you just have an interest in the outdoors - we'd love to hear from you.

The programme will be split into 6 areas and there are opportunities to gain qualifications in navigation, first aid and also the John Muir Award. Within the programme areas there are competencies listed at 3 different levels giving you the opportunity to work your way up through the programme, completing the 3 different levels as you progress.

Sessions will run each month and will be lead by our expert team and rangers from Severn Trent.  Once you sign up to become a ranger you will be expected to come along to most of the sessions.

Interested?  Contact us now!  We will be accepting application on to the programme twice a year during January and September - so don't miss out!

The Junior Ranger programme operates across Europe and our groups are affiliated to the Europarc Federation.  You can find more information on the Peak District National Park website.
