There are several ways in which you can get involved to help Ratty.

• If you have seen a water vole or know of anywhere near you where water voles are living, please let us know. Similarly, we are keen to collect as much information about mink in the county as we can. Report your sightings here.
• If you have water voles on your land or along a watercourse in your area, consider the ways in which the habitats can be managed for them, or how about creating some new wetland habitat? Water voles can quickly colonise new sites or recolonise areas where the habitat has improved. Not only will observing water voles give you a great deal of pleasure, but you will be doing something positive to halt the decline of this engaging mammal.
