Carr Vale Sighting by Mark Beevers

Posted: Friday 10th November 2017 by Carrvale

Since the last posting things have been very quiet on the reserve although both the Cetti's Warbler and Chiffchaff were still present today (9th) and a Brambling flew east. Another Brambling was present on 6th along with the female Pintail, two Peregrines, four Common Darters and two Red Admirals. On 7th Little Egret, Peregrine but little else of note whilst on 8th 50 Gadwall, 29 Wigeon, three Shoveler, two Peregrines and 180 Lapwings. I did say it had been quiet.
