We want to see a Wilder Willington!

We're working hard on our Willington Wetlands and we can't wait for you all to come and visit!

In a bid to make our site much Wilder, we've introduced beavers!  We are really excited about this, as beavers are great at helping to maintain land not only for themselves, but for other wildlife as well.

As well as introducing beavers, we're busy making Willington Wetlands more accessible.  It is such a beautiful site, and we want to share it with as many people as possible.  With this in mind, we creating a 5 mile circular walk on site, as well as build a brand new visitor centre and hide so everyone can get up close with nature and hopefully spot a beaver or two!

Now that beavers have been released, the next stage of our project is to complete the 5 mile circular walk and concentrate on making Willington Wetlands more accessible.

It's not too late to be part of bringing beavers back to Derbyshire. Donate towards the project today and you'll be helping us look after the beavers and ensure the site is accessible so people can try and catch a glimpse of these amazing creatures - or secure yourself one of our super cute Beaver Adoption Packs

Thank you!
