Amazing ants and brilliant bugs – discover the wonderful world of minibeasts with Derbyshire Wildlife Trust.
The Trust is holding a Minibeast Mania fun day at its Wildlife Discovery Room, Carsington Water on Sunday 5th February. Get crafty and make an ugly bug or an egg box ant; create a home for the bugs in your garden; take a closer look at pond creatures in the tank and minibeasts under the microscope. The event is suitable for accompanied children aged two and over and is free, although there will be a small charge for some craft activities.
Minibeast Mania takes place from 11am-4pm – there is no need to book, just drop in at any time. The Wildlife Discovery Room is in the main courtyard at Carsington Water Visitor Centre. For more information contact Derbyshire Wildlife Trust on 01773 881188.
