Join us at Ashwood Park in Buxton on 30th June between 10am and 3pm for a fun-filled Day of Action.

Derbyshire Wildlife Trust, Nestlé Waters UK, children from Fairfield infants school and Burbage junior school, YMCA, Friends of Ashwood Park and Derbyshire County Council staff will all be coming together to promote biodiversity at this free, fun community event.

Come along and get involved in making a giants head which will become a home for reptiles and invertebrates. Learn how to build bat and bird boxes and put them up, hunt for mini beasts, or make natural art; these are just a few of the interactive activities we have planned for the day!

This day is part of the Get Better With Nature project, which aims to help raise awareness and appreciation of the benefits that nature can have on everyone’s health and wellbeing, whilst encouraging people to discover how they can support their local natural world.
