Daddy’s random act of wild

Today was quite a quiet one for the children and myself; we spent our morning at playgroup, and afternoon relaxing in the garden with the dog, and then shopping for a new bathroom – such is the exciting life we lead.

it fell upon my husband to provide our family’s daily act of wild

While we did our best to look out for bugs and beasties I fear we have now spotted everything that’s currently residing in our garden, so it fell upon my husband to provide our family’s daily act of wild. He headed out once the boys were in bed, and enjoyed a 13-mile cycle ride around the local countryside, taking in lakes, woodlands, and meadow paths as he went.

The pictures he came back with were gorgeous, and we’ve resolved to do the trail with the boys one day soon. I was pleased that Adam had got out and about without us, as it feels as though the children and I often dominate the family’s collective wild experiences – this moment was all about him.
