Do you ever go for a walk and hear a bird singing its socks off, but you can’t see it and have no idea what it is?

Learn about local birdsong, bird ID and bird surveying techniques with us at our free workshop.

All you need to do is be able to commit half a day a month from March to October to take part in the Trust’s annual woodland bird survey programme and attend the workshop, where we will go through the techniques and methods of identifying and recording bird species.

No experience is required, you just need to attend our free training session on Saturday 1st April from 10am - 5pm at the Evergreen Club, Allestree and they will teach you all you need to know to become a volunteer surveyor.

If you would like to take part, please book on to the course by calling us on 01773 881188.
