Open Bird Hide
Wyver Lane Nature Reserve near Belper is a great place to visit in the autumn as wintering ducks and geese start to arrive. Visit the reserve's hide where we will help you identify the birds. Meet us in Belper River Gardens for truck trips, to find out more about the Trust and join in with activities. This event is part of the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site Discovery Days.

Creepy Creatures
Prepare to be scared! Make a Halloween lantern and join in on our creepy crawly activities followed by self-guided spooky walk around the nature reserve. Then join us at the bonfire for a baked potato and marshmellows.
Starts 4pm
There will be a small charge to cover the cost of refreshments.
