Family activities

Getting to know and love the world around you is the first step to helping protect it, and the Trust organises many activities to help people of all ages and abilities enjoy the nature on their doorstep.

Encouraging people to discover the countryside at first hand is one of the ways in which we help them to understand the natural world. We organise guided walks on nature reserves, school visits to reserves and to the Whistlestop Centre.
